Zoned Extraction

For Cutting Higher Volumes of Stainless Steel or Aluminium, Zoned Extraction Is Recommended

KUTAVAR Zoned Extraction tables consist of bins, trays and slats.

The sleigh of the machine accordingly opens the zoned baffles giving a powerful, localised suction in the area in which the plasma is operating. This in turn extracts the fumes through either a central extraction and filtration system or an extraction fan.

Operators can work in a much cleaner environment with this configuration.

Water-Bed or Zoned Extraction

For Mild Steel, The Choice Is Available For Either A Water-Bed or Zoned Extraction Table

Water-Bed

Machine slats sit within a tank that is filled with a mixture of water and biologicut fluid. 

The water is used to trap the metal particles coming off the material during the cutting process and steam vapour is emitted into the atmosphere because of the heat generated.

The KUTAVAR waterbed offers a lower initial investment although it can be more difficult to clean and is not compatible with certain materials or High-Definition plasma and Oxy-fuel.

Oxy-Fuel Gas Cutting Head
Available with all KUTAVAR zoned-extraction tables is the option of cutting with Oxy-fuel. With a simple manual changeover, this allows the operator to swap from the plasma torch to the gas torch in seconds.
KEMPER PlasmaFil
A central extraction and filtration system, designed to capture both smoke and dust particles, and recirculate clean air. The unit is standalone and is especially suited when ductwork through an exterior wall is not practical. The unit comes installed with KemTex® ePTFE membrane filter cartridges.
BOGE S ECO DR Compressor
A super-silenced, oil-lubricated rotary screw-type air compressor with a refrigerant dryer. Features include a 400V, 7.5 KW / 10 HP motor, with effective free air delivery of 1 m3/min, and a 250 litre condense trap.
Engraving Device
The engraving device allows operators to scribe cut part numbers, identification tags, logos, and illustrations into your sheet material.

There are several other uses for the device such as: Fold lines for bending, Precision hole drilling, Weld positions etc.
HVAC Slats
