Edge Quality, Uncompromised

Fibre laser joins the KUTAVAR range as a full technology in its own right. The finest kerf and the cleanest edge — best used for cutting very high volumes of sheet metal when extreme precision, speed and intricate shapes are required.

New to the Range

Where finishing time is the real cost

A laser cut edge comes off the bed square, clean and effectively dross-free. For shops where finished parts currently go from the cutting bed to a linisher, a deburring machine or a bench, laser cutting removes that step.

  • Laser power, 2–20 kW. *As standard.
  • Near-zero kerf loss. Tighter nesting on sheet, which improves material yield.
  • Very high traverse speeds. Rapid positioning between cuts, with speeds up to 120 m/min.

Applications

Where it earns its keep

Laser lends itself to customers who require maximum uptime, producing high volume mass-manufactured parts. Relying heavily on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) to ensure the cost per part remains low.

  • Precision sheet metal
  • Enclosures & cabinets
  • Electronics chassis
  • Architectural metalwork
  • Prototyping
  • Automotive components
  • Medical & instrumentation
  • Subcontract laser profiling

Software

Built for laser cutting

KUTAVAR laser machines run dedicated laser CAD/CAM and control software, separate from the plasma and oxy-fuel platform. Talk to our team about your workflow and the files you work from.

Two more ways to cut

The same British engineering, applied to a different process.

CNC Plasma Cutting

Plasma Cutting

Fast, versatile cutting across mild steel, stainless and aluminium, driven by Hypertherm power sources.

CNC Oxy-Fuel Cutting

Oxy-Fuel Cutting

For heavy steel, where plate is thicker than plasma or laser can economically carry.
