We recently visited Enda Reilly at Reilly Engineering, in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland to see how the KUTAVAR Machine has helped his business by speeding up production on a range of materials.
Reilly Engineering specialises in structural steel fabrication, supplying cut and folded steel plates to a wide range of customers.

Hypertherm MAXPRO200
At the heart of Reilly Engineering’s operation is the Hypertherm MAXPRO200 plasma system. For Enda, consistency and cut quality were non-negotiable, and the MAXPRO has delivered on both.
Whether cutting heavy plate or thin sheet, the system performs reliably across an impressive range of materials and thicknesses. Paired with an oxy-fuel head, the machine can cut everything from 100mm plate right down to just 1mm, giving the business the flexibility to take on a wide variety of work.
“The MAXPRO has been key to everything. I suppose the consistency of the cut and the quality of the cut are the two biggest things that I look for, especially for what I’m trying to do, which is to build the business around the machine.
On heavy plate and light plate, I have no issue with the MAXPRO at all. It’s got such a range and such a good cut quality in every size of plate.
When you’re selling your product, you want to be able to cut a range. That’s why I went for the oxy-fuel head as well. The machine cuts from 100mm right down to 1mm.
Being able to cut thin material has been a massive plus. The cut quality has been equal to a laser.
I would recommend the MAXPRO to nearly anyone.”
